Finally Fall

 

 Autumn is finally here. Leaves are everywhere and it's time for some fun. I wanted to do lots of fun things with my brother and sister but they were too busy. James is always away at that school of his. Spicey is doing her homework and can't play until she's done. So I got my wagon and went exploring in the yard.

I found a really cool leaf pile and was playing in it for a bit. I pretended to be a leaf and hid in the pile.

A couple of squirrels came to say "hi". I played with them for a bit showing them all the cool leaves. 

After a while, the squirrels went about hunting for nuts to fill their nest. Momma says they do that so they will have food for the winter. I  guess they don't have a squirrel grocery store. I decided to lay on my blanket for a while and just enjoy the colors.  I happened to roll over and see a group of mushrooms. I wonder what they eat in the winter?
