All the adults went out to party for New Year's. Before they left they said we could stay up. Momma and Papa Mo even bought us pizza for dinner. I got pineapples on mine. Momma said James was in charge.
Spice and I played games, and tried to read James's homework books, I found his wand which he quickly took away. He gave us game controllers and let us play his video games. They were too hard for me but Spice was up to the challenge. She kept asking him a million-and-one questions about the games.
James finally passed out on the sofa and enjoyed his chips. I watched Spice play the game from the floor as my banana pal and I enjoyed our pineapple pizza. He was glad there were no bananas on the pizza.
As midnight approached Spice and I switched on her Spotify and had a dance party. We danced into 2024. Then James put both of us to bed and went to bed himself. I couldn't sleep so I went back downstairs and sat on the sofa. 2024 is too quiet. I'm gonna miss 2023.
